Learning that vegetarian visitors are having hard time finding meals they can enjoy during their stay in Kyoto as bonito broth are often used in the Kyoto cuisine, we created this Vegetarian Dish solely using ingredients of plant origin, mainly tofu and tofu skin. We sincerely hope this gentle dish to your body system helps you to further enjoy Arashiyama with seasonal beauties.
We only use safe domestic soy specially selected by us, Ine, which is grown with care by trustworthy producers.
Though we have the latest equipment,
the veteran’s touch is the key for the perfect temperature and timing.
By boiling soy in an exquisite manner,
we adjust the density of soy milk for each Tofu, Tofu Skin and Filhos.
We provide seasonal flavor of Saga-Arashiyama by accompanying Kyoto’s special vegetables and pickles for Tofu and Tofu Skin dishes.
